IO Global Advertising Policy

This Advertising Policy (“Policy”) governs all advertising content (“Ads”) submitted to, displayed on, or distributed through IO Global, including but not limited to the IO Global Virtual Tradeshow, IO Nexus, homepage placements, and other promotional features operated by Ingredients Online and its subsidiaries.
1. Purpose
This Policy is intended to ensure that all advertisements align with the standards, integrity, and legal obligations of IO Global. All advertisers must comply with this Policy as a condition of participation.
2. Eligibility to Advertise
Only businesses and individuals that have been approved as verified sellers or service providers on Ingredients Online may advertise through IO Global. IO Global reserves the right to accept or reject any advertiser at its sole discretion.
3. Ad Formats and Specifications
Advertisers must adhere to all technical requirements and file specifications provided by IO Global, including but not limited to:
- File formats: JPG, PNG, MP4, or as otherwise specified
- Dimensions: As defined for each ad type (e.g., 1920x680 pixels for homepage banners)
- File size limits
- Copy length and character limits
Failure to meet technical specifications may result in rejection or delay of the advertisement.
4. Content Standards
All advertisements must be truthful, not misleading, and substantiated by evidence where applicable. The following are strictly prohibited:
- False or deceptive claims
- Unsupported performance or health claims
- Unverifiable comparisons or superlatives
- Offensive, defamatory, or discriminatory content
- Political, religious, or sexually explicit content
- Use of Ingredients Online or IO Global branding without written permission
All claims regarding product efficacy, quality, origin, or regulatory status must be substantiated and, where required, supported by documentation.
5. Prohibited Product Categories
The following products and services may not be advertised on IO Global:
- Controlled substances or illegal ingredients
- Unapproved pharmaceuticals
- Counterfeit or misbranded products
- Weapons or weapon-related accessories
- Any product or service deemed incompatible with the standards of Ingredients Online
6. Regulatory Compliance
Advertisers are solely responsible for ensuring that their ads comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to:
- United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
- Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
- U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)
- Applicable local, state, national, or international laws
Ads making health, safety, or efficacy claims must comply with all applicable labeling and advertising standards.
7. Review and Approval Process
All advertisements are subject to review and approval by IO Global prior to publication. IO Global reserves the right to request edits or deny any advertisement at its sole discretion without obligation to provide justification.
8. Data Use and Performance Reporting
Advertisers may receive performance reports including, but not limited to, impressions, clicks, and conversions. IO Global retains all rights to data generated through ad campaigns and may use such data in aggregated, non-identifiable form for analytics and product improvement.
9. Termination and Violations
IO Global reserves the right to remove any advertisement, suspend advertiser privileges, or terminate the advertiser's account in the event of:
- Violation of this Policy
- Repeated submission of non-compliant content
- Legal or regulatory risk as determined by IO Global
No refunds will be issued for removed advertisements found in violation of this Policy.
10. Policy Updates
IO Global reserves the right to amend this Advertising Policy at any time. Advertisers are responsible for reviewing the current version of the Policy prior to submitting new ad content.
